Macro

Landscape

Landscape photography is the favourite of many people. We see stunning visuals of mountains, beaches, rivers, monuments in most photo galleries. Sunsets are another common types of photos in landscape.

Nightscape

Taking photos in low light conditions seems intimidating to many people. Either the photos get too dark, or they become blurred. With a little knowledge of camera settings, and the amount of light in the surroundings, it is not difficult to capture good pictures in low light and night times.. To know about taking pictures in low light, a bit of knowing about ISO and aperture will do a lot of good.

Monochrome

The history of photography started with black and white photography. Many still have old albums of their parents with BW photos. Some are in sepia tone. Now with colour photography, and in digital forms, monochrome (BW, sepia) photography has become an artform. Yes, monochrome images have a beauty of their own, that many colour images cannot match.

Long exposure

Exposure is another component of photography that makes many budding photographers jittery. They end up in getting blurred photos. Here, the images are intentionally blurred to give an arty look. Waterfalls, fountains have a curtain-like look with long exposure. Having the right shutter speed and exposure is the trick. To know more about shutter speed and exposure, visit this page.
